Abstract
Vacant Land in San Bernardino County
Purpose
Vacant Land Inventory used in demographic projections for transportation models. Dataset is also beneficial in determining amount of infill development possible in our jurisdictions.
Supplementary Information
Vacant Land does not imply that it is developable. It does not factor in slope, terrain, local zoning laws, or ground conditions. It only shows what areas have no development. Also, it considers cropland to be part of vacant land. This can be queried out of the database through the DESC field to create a revised dataset
